Posting

Placing a message into the forum is called "Posting." A "Thread" is a topic of discussion. When you post a new message with a new topic, you begin a thread. When others reply to your post, their message becomes a part of your thread.

Categories

There are four categories in which to read and post messages.

  • News: Read about the latest DNR happenings, such as changes to the web site, new features, current specials and more.

  • Product Discussions/Questions: This is the place to discuss products, protocols and usage.

  • General Health Discussions: Discuss anything health-related here. DNR, Inc. is not responsible for any posts to this category, and cannot be held liable for misleading, illegal or improper posts. This area exists for informal discussion, and should not be used to diagnose or treat any disease or illness.

  • Compensation Plan Discussions: This is the place to discuss the DNR, Inc. Dealer Compensation Plan. Generally the only use for this area is if you have a question about the details of the plan that will probably be answered by DNR staff.

Creating a new thread

In order to start a discussion on a subject, you must create a thread. You can do this by clicking the Start New Topic link on the right side of the page.

Posting a reply

To reply to a post, you can click the Reply link on the right of the page.

Emoticons

Emoticons are smiley images that are a fun way to express your emotion in your posting. They can help you indicate whether you are joking, happy, sad, or a variety of other things. Each emoticon uses standard chat-style key-strokes, so it requires no thinking on your part. Just type the standard smiley, such as :) and the emoticon is showed in your post.

Standard HTML code cannot be used in posts. Instead, this forum allows the use of "YaBB Bulletin Board Code" (YaBBC) in posts. YaBBC is similar to HTML, but safe and standardized for bulletin board use.
